Established 501c3 Non-Profit since 2015
Pretty Kitty Miami Dade Rescue has been rescuing in Miami since 2015 and established as a 501c3 Non Profit Rescue in 2020. We have TNR'd (Trapped/Neutered/Returned) over 1500 community cats, which aids in lowering the community cat population in South FL. We have sent 1300+ rehabilitated cats/kittens on transport to the empty shelters/foster homes in the Northeast US where they are adopted out almost immediately.
Cats and kittens born outside in Miami come in with ringworm, upper respiratory infections, mange and a plethora of other issues. We personally de-worm, vaccinate, microchip and nurse the sick ones back to health. We bottle feed neo-nates who lost their mother and also rehabilitate sick and injured cats (typically mange, broken limbs, etc.) and fund raise for their medical bills.
Our rescue is small but mighty. We typically have 50+ cats and kittens in our care. We are 100% donation based and every penny go towards food, litter, medicine, vet visits and any care the cats and kittens need.
This year we were also forced to relocate and our housing costs have more than doubled. We rely on and appreciate the generosity of the South Florida community to enable us to continue saving these little lives. Please consider a tax deductible donation to our rescue!
