We Need Community Involvement.
Yes, through your generosity we are able to save Cats and Kittens born outside in Miami-Dade with ringworm, upper respiratory infections, mange and a plethora of other issues. We de-worm, vaccinate, microchip and nurse the sick ones back to health. We bottle feed neo-nates who lost their mother and also rehabilitate sick and injured cats. This year we were forced to relocate and our housing costs have more than doubled. We rely on and appreciate the generosity of the community. Care, food, medicine and veterinary bills are paid only through donations and fundraising.
Pretty Kitty Miami-Dade Rescue (PKMDR) is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions to the PKMDR are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. PKMDR’s tax identification number (EIN) is 85-3004159.

FAQ
-
PKMDR has been rescuing in Miami-Dade County since 2015 and became an established 501c3 Non-Profit Rescue in 2020. We have TNR'd (Trapped/Neutered/Returned) over 1500 community cats and we have documented our cats profiles in our books. We are lowering the community cat population in South FL as we have sent 1300+ rehabilitated cats/kittens on transport to the empty shelters/foster homes in the Northeast US where they are adopted out almost immediately.
-
PKMDR spend 100% of all donations and fundraising directly on lifesaving cat and kittens protection programs, which also help maintain our infrastructure and operations. Like any nonprofit organization, PKMDR carries out property rent, property maintenance, transportation, website, marketing, fundraising and public awareness programs designed to reach the public and donations.
